Creating Long-Lasting Relationships

J & J Hay Farms, Inc.
Mr. Alan Jessie, Owner & President
2370 Hightower Road
Ball Ground, GA 30107

Dear Mr. Jessie:

Thank you very much for not only providing quality Timothy hay but also for being so pleasant and accommodating. (It did not hurt my feelings that a fully loaded truck netted a delivery discount, or the delivery price was less than the price that was quoted). Now that was a most welcomed (read: unheard of) surprise!

All of that said, I do not recall the last time someone actually said, “We appreciate your business,” or, “We look forward to doing business with you again.” I spoke with Cody in person, two others over the telephone, and all of them said something equally gracious.

In fact, earlier today when the nice young man that delivered, neatly and safely stacked the hay – was thanked for all he had done – also replied, “Well, we appreciate your business.” Most people don’t even say those words and not only were they spoken, I feel that every single person that voiced appreciation or something similar, truly meant what they said. It did not go unnoticed.

As a retired funeral director, I believe that service means a great deal to the public it serves; it means a great deal to this customer of that I am certain. Truth told, I have never once paid the amount that was paid for the Timothy hay I received today and I could not be more delighted! Delighted with the hay, the service, and the delivery.

It was truly a pleasure doing business with you, your company and your tack store.

Very sincerely,

E. M.

What others say about us

As a Gypsy Vanner breeder responsible for over 25 mares, babies and stallions, it is reassuring to know where my next hay delivery is coming from. J & J Hay Farms not only keeps an inventory (so I don’t have to), but the quality of their hay is always consistent and the prices fair. You get what you pay for and J & J always delivers, literally! I expect the best quality hay for my championship Gypsy Vanners. I depend on J & J and they do not disappoint. Visit Stillwater Farm’s Website.

I have found that if my hay is not good, my Thoroughbreds do not maintain good weight. I switched to J & J Hay Farms Timothy/Alfalfa mix and now my horses keep good weight and need less grain. We also get our straw bedding from J & J Hay Farms. It is clean and dust free so it is for great bedding for our broodmares and foals.

I manage a boarding facility with over 40 horses. In the past, it has been difficult to find quality hay in bulk and sometimes it was difficult to even find horse quality hay at the end of the season. We now buy high-quality horse hay by the truckload from J & J Hay Farms at great prices. Now I know I will have enough hay to get us through winter and it will always be of consistently high quality.

We have a competition horse boarding operation and pay close attention to each individual horse’s nutritional needs. Alan consistently has high-quality timothy alfalfa as well as orchard and other grass hay that meets all of our needs. Visit Cedar Ridge Farm’s Website.
